By joining the “Green Company” project, our company has enabled its employees to dispose of small, old appliances and batteries in an environmentally friendly way, thus considerably extending its range of activities in the sphere of environmental protection.
The aim of the “Green Company” project is the protection of the environment by collecting and recycling old electrical appliances. These appliances contain a lot of dangerous substances, such as mercury, lead, cadmium, brominated flame retardants, etc. but also a lot of recyclable and reusable materials.
Our employees can put their old household appliances into a box placed in the administrative building. Our company’s project also enables the recycling of bulky electronic waste produced by the company.
By joining the “Green Company” project, our company demonstrates its ecological thinking, as regards both its employees and the public. It represents the next step towards our long-term goal – to reduce the pressure on the environment. Also, we provide our employees with a benefit in the form of recycling small “household” electronic waste.
The initiator of the project is REMA Systém a.s., a company that secures the collecting, sorting, recycling, and handling of electronic waste throughout the Czech Republic.
